Dry, mildly-warm, extremely protected, Naktis is a city in a sunken canyon. It was created from the clay-rich soil that comprises the badlands. Stone was imported from the Synoran Mountains, too, for more important buildings, such as the castle, the chapel, and upperclass housing. The city itself is very open to the hot sun, but more importantly, the bright stars and moon. Naktis is the capital city of the Vesperian Badlands.

No New Posts Ergas

Ergas is a more desert-town compared to Naktis. It's sandy, really sandy, but situated on a baked clay plateau. It is located to the northeast of the Vesperian Badlands. There aren't many who find permanent residence in Ergas, but there are many, many travelers who do use its facilities. As such, there are many bars here.

No New Posts The Southern Desert

The name is incredibly misleading. One might believe the Southern Desert is actually in the southern region of the Vesperian Badlands, but this is not true at all. This desert is actually continued from the southern region of Erotza, hence its name. It is actually the northernmost region of the Vesperian Badlands.

No New Posts The Badlands

The actual badlands are topographically diverse. There are mounds of clay-rich soil eroded away from wind and water. There are canyons, deep canyons. There are patches of grass and patches of dry earth. There are huge boulders. Some of the higher regions are actually plateaus with flowers and real grass, green with life. For the most part, however, the badlands are nothing more than a dry terrain of ranging rock heights.

Board Description
The Vesperian Badlands
The Vesperian Badlands aren't much better than Pertinax to the south. There's very little to these lands of clay, rocks, dry grasses, and cold winds. A bit of the Southern Desert of Erotza can be found to the north of the Vesperian Badlands. Naktis, the province capital, is plotted directly in the center of these lands, surrounded formidably by huge boulders and essentially a canyon. A large town known as Ergas exists in the northeastern corner of this province, too.
