Description:
Probably more threatening than Sakura's sword is her eyes, which seem to stare right into a person's soul. The irises are the palest blue, bordering on gray. If one can get past the way her eyes bore into a person, then they realize she's really not paying attention to them. Instead of looking into a person, she looks past them. Sakura, depending upon the person she meets, either looks as if she's in a trance or incredibly bored with everything going on around her.

The human has long, silky, black hair that cascades down to her hips. It's cut in a choppy way, making it look like she cut it herself. Her bangs aren't much better. They're messed up and frequently get into her eyes. The human's hair contrasts lightly with her skin, which is a shade of soft apricot. Her mouth is usually pressed into a straight line or curved down into a frown. Sakura stands at 5'10" with an averagely curved body. She's lithe and lean.

Although she is a guard, she is never seen wearing armor. She prefers to wear something more sleek then bulky. However, while she doesn't wear armor, she does always have her sword

Description:
Silence. One should, most of the time, expect that from the girl. She doesn't like conversing with people she doesn't see worthy to talk to. A lot of people say she's superficial and won't give anyone the time of day even if they begged. She's cold and doesn't care too much about what people are feeling. In fact, she has admitted plenty of times that she is bored with people. She says they never can surprise her even if they do something she doesn't expect.

Sakura, though she doesn't like to talk, will listen to whatever people have to say, whether it be stupid or important. She stays calm and collected throughout any situation. She has never been known to cry. On a rare occassion, though, you'll see a flicker of annoyance or anger when people get on her nerves. She tries to contain her emotions, but sometimes they slip out.


HISTORY AND BACKGROUND
Sakura has always been a quiet girl. She was known to strive for what she wanted and worked and worked until she earned something. She would not accept help from others when they asked and she certainly would not give in. Not even when she knew she couldn't win in a situation. Her parents were always proud of their little fighter and they were ecstatic when she declared one morning that she was going to grow up and become the guard captain for Acerbus Umbra.

By the age of ten, she was training in the castle and slowly making her way up the ranks. There was a dillemma for her, however, when she found out that there was another person working towards the same position. He was one year older, but he was a complete goof-ball. She would not allow that to become the next guard captain.

She decided to work extra hard, not stopping even when someone told her she was done for the day. Sakura slowly tired herself out to the point where she collapsed one morning, completely out of energy.

"You really want that job that bad?" The boy working for the same occupation had asked. He had been kind enough to carry her to a nearby bench and gotten a restoration mage.

"Of course I do! I promised my parents!" She had yelled, showing anger which was very rare for her. She glared at the boy and wished he would just go away. She didn't want his pity and she didn't want him there. At that time, she truly thought he was the enemy.

"Oh..." Was all he said that day before he left with a thoughtful expression.

The next day the boy came up to Sakura and said clear as day, "I've finally got an idea! Why don't we both be guard captains?" He smiled at Sakura and in that moment, something seemed to happen between the two.

Something about Renji made Sakura not feel the need to work as hard. She eased down a bit when it came to working for her goal and actually made a couple of friends along the way. When the time came, she had a faithful companion and she was made guard captain along with her good friend, Renji.

Description:

Sharp, sleek, royal, elegant. Those four words truly sum up what Nova looks like. She is around the size of a red wolf, weighing approximately sixty pounds. Her build is beyond lithe, with a large chest capacity for big lungs, slender yet muscular limbs, and a long, thin tail for balance. She can run incredibly fast due to her streamlined physique.

Nova has large, feather-shaped ears with fur tufts on the tips that increase her hearing capabilities. Her chest fur is thicker than the rest of her very short pelt, but not by much. Her wrists and ankles have longer fur on them, and she has a lion-like tail-tip tuft. Her beak resembles that of an eagle, brown in color and razor-sharp.

She has a beautiful, regal, golden pelt with a tan underbelly. Her ears are accented with lines of brown, matching the color of her spots and stripes. Speaking of, she has small spots that begin at her emerald-green eyes (which are outlined in dark brown as if she we wearing eyeliner), growing progressively larger until they are more leopard-like, with a dark brown outline and an orange-ish center. They fade into tiger stripes at the bottom of her rib cage and continue down her hind legs and tail.

Description:

Nova's facial expressions mirror her personality quite excellently. She usually has a stern look about her face, and it often looks similar to Sakura's. Most of the time, she remains quiet and serious. Her words, though rare, are frequently filled with wisdom and unarguable common sense. She is considerably intelligent, though she prefers to keep that to herself. Nova isn't one to show off or make others feel inferior to her unless they really deserve it.

While is mistress is regularly bored and not paying attention to others, Nova is astonishingly observant. Her keen eyesight is always watching, and her honed hearing is always listening. She never forgets, especially significant details. Her detective abilities make her quite useful as a guard captain's companion.

Similar to Sakura, Nova doesn't usually show her emotions. To her, it's nothing but a hindrance. She feels it lets other people penetrate to your deepest core, and she hates letting people inside of her like that. Nova will openly show her petite amusement, soft delight, subtle sorrow, or even slight sadness. She gives only a sneak peak, rather than everything she's feeling.

While her ruling element is fire, Nova doesn't let hotheadedness or anger get the best of her. Uncontrollable rage, she feels, is an extreme disadvantage, so she stays cool, even when others push her in the wrong direction.

Another feeling she never lets anyone see is affection. She feels that the instant you get close to someone, open yourself up to someone, and give someone your trust, you're just signing up to be betrayed, hurt, and deceived. The only person Nova has ever created a real, unbreakable bond with is Sakura Baigon.
