Vathia is a large town hidden somewhat low within the Synoran Mountains. The people are rugged warriors capable of surviving the cold temperatures and unforgiving, rocky terrain. Snowfall is common during the colder seasons, but it's usually still chilly in the spring and summer. Many hikers use Vathia as a rest stop, and as such, there are many bars here to benefit their travels.

A grand temple the size of a small town itself, Denarius Temple is more of a fortress for priests, bishops, healers, and spiritual leaders alike. Only those who hold a title in a chapel are allowed access, and it is said emperor's special force agency of guards are named here.

A very small forest surrounding Consilium, Chisana Forest doesn't offer too much difficulty in terms of getting through. It's a thin forest at the base of the Veroia Mountains that doesn't extend too far both east or west of Consilium.

The Morningstar half of the Veroia Mountain Range is just as unforgiving as the Tenesidus half. Often regarded as the coldest, most brutal mountain range notorious for killing almost all who dare so enter its deathly grasp, these mountains are rarely messed with, hence the reason they provide such great protection for towns and cities. Snow elves and polnocs are the only races physically built to endure the range's roughness.

Owned exclusively by Asteria's government and comprising the border with Resmir, the Synoran Mountains are less extreme than the Veroia Mountains to the north. It's not as cold, but don't let that misguide you. The temperatures might be more forgiving in this mountain range, but the terrain makes up for it. The mountain slopes are for the most part incredibly steep, and if that doesn't make climbing difficult enough, they're loose and rocky. For this quality of near impassability, the town of Vathia is situated within these mountains.
