No New Posts Animus

Capital of the entire province of Hegatzi, Animus is also the capital of Dasaen Forest as well. It is a city rich in Hegatzan culture. The buildings do not look as technologically advanced and modern as the ones in the cities of Asteria and Resmir. Instead, they are built of all-natural stone and are a welcoming home for vines and sometimes considered invasive plants. The city looks tribal. Instead of paved roadways, the natural forest floor is kept, and the trees aren't as cleared out as they are in human and elf cities.

No New Posts Makria

Makria is the smallest village in Dasaen Forest. No trees were removed to create it; it is situated in a natural forest clearing in the curving nook of the Achomawi River. The buildings of Makria are unstable and made of logs and large leaves; one might call them huts. The village is very peaceful and happy.

No New Posts Endeswell

The larger of the two villages in Dasaen Forest, Endeswell is a bit more advanced than Makria. The forest was thinned out for its creation. Wealthier citizens of Endeswell live in stone houses, while the poorer citizens live in log ones. Regardless, it is not the wealthiest place to be. Most people survive by selling their gathered and hunted goods, such as fruits, meat, and skins.

No New Posts Dasaen Forest

The actual forest. Dasaen Forest is thick with trees, boulders, underbrush, broadleaves, bushes, layers of leaves, branches, and so much more. Most of the trees in Dasaen Forest are thick-trunked, but some are thinner than that. The thick-trunked trees connect with each other as they grow taller, providing the animal races of Hegatzi a secret highway above the forest floor accessible only to those who know how to use it. Animal instinct and abilities have never felt so good.

No New Posts The Achomawi River

The Achomawi River is quite long. The bestial races sometimes refer to it as the snake, for its serpentine shape does indeed snake through the Dasaen Forest from Wiwohka Lake to the Vatra Sea. The Achomawi is abundant with fish and is used for transport throughout the forest.

No New Posts Wiwohka Lake

Wiwohka Lake is actually very very large. The lake itself dumps into the Achowami River, and it's full of freshwater fish and aquatic life. The lake is well-protected by the surrounding trees, and there is about ten feet of grassy shore before immediately returning to dense forest around the whole circumference of the lake.

Board Information & Statistics

Board Description
Dasaen Forest
Dasaen Forest, a massively dense and confusing woodland that begs for travelers to become lost in its labyrinth. This seemingly never-ending forest is home mostly to kyniks an ailours, as the savra and tromo races do not like its density. The capital, Animus, can be found to the north. Makria and Endeswell are two small villages within the clearer areas of Dasaen Forest. The serpentine Achomawi River snakes its way through the forest and meets up with Wiwohka Lake. The peoples of this forest are highly in touch with nature and tribal life. Many beasts do live in tribes rather than the city or villages.
