Scelestus is a typical log-cabin city nestled very deep in the Masayan Mountains. It is thoroughly protected and increasingly difficult to easily gain access to this city, save for the few, well-hidden mountain passes. Due to its remoteness, Scelestus was chosen to be a home for the headquarters of thieves and assassins guilds alike, or basically any group dedicated to doing wrong for selfish benefits or unlawful acts frowned upon by the rest of Osoa.
Brevis Village, located in a rain forest, is a vertical village that is the physical representation of social hierarchy: the closer you are to the forest floor, the lower class you must be. Wealthier citizens tend to live in the canopy, above the lower class and peasants, though this comes with the risk of falling to their deaths. Many tend to because they like to mock those below them, both socially and physically.
The Masayan Mountains aren't really just a range, but an entire group that encompasses all of the larger island segment of Oriens. If it must be described as a range, one might more accurately regard it as a ring. The largest, more dramatic mountains encircle a center few mountains which look like a plateau compared to their protective cousins. Scelestus can be found in those small mountains at the center of the ring.
Cloud Forest is actually a tropical cloud forest, or a rainforest with a high amount of fog and low-hanging clouds. It's not as thick as its cousin on the other side of Osoa, but it does add life and uniqueness to the dreary province of Verfall. Brevis Village is located in Cloud Forest.
A mostly mountainous territory, Oriens is segmented into two sort of islands connected by an isthmus. The larger one is dominantly mountains and also come to the province's capital, Scelestus. The city is nestled deep within the numerous mountains. The second, northernmost island segment is actually a tropical cloud forest in which Brevis Village can be found. Oriens is the least depressing province in Verfall, as it is least like a wasteland and is even home of a beautiful, foggy rain forest.
