PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS Height: 6'4” Weight: 175 lbs Physical Build: tall, thin, lanky, not much muscle or fat Hair Color: Medium blonde Eye Color: Right is red, left is green Description: Compared to the endless amount of forms Loki is capable of altering his appearance into, his true and original form is hardly one of the most intimidating. Despite having a relatively tall height of 6'4", he has a gangly build that appears very flimsy and light due to his lack of a good amount of both muscle and fat. Because of the absence of a decent amount of muscle, Loki is weak in terms of sheer strength and stamina which makes most physical labor considerably difficult; unless he shifts into a much stronger creature that could simply snap his actual form in half, of course! His lean and scrawny figure is probably one of the reasons why the shapeshifter does not do too well in the weather in the colder seasons. Loki's choice of clothing is the second reason. It's definitely not the type of clothing you would expect a mystic to be wearing because it is very simple. It is often just thin, black cloth with no intricate designs or anything. Nothing special.
The physical feature that probably catches most people's attention is the odd coloration of his eyes with the left eye being green while the right eye is red. It's not everyday that you see someone with complete heterochromia. Other than that though, the rest of his traits are not anything that would immediately stand out in a crowd. His messy, unkempt hair is a vibrant medium blonde that hangs over a good portion of his face and may occasionally, but not often, cover his eyes. Loki's skin is nothing special as it is neither noticeably tanned or incredibly pale. I am very lazy so I am going to stop writing this.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS Alignment: Neutral Good Religious Affiliation: Holy Likes: taking naps, sleeping, not being awake, leisure, useful information, confusion, annoying others Dislikes: disturbed naps, meaningless knowledge, bugs, tedious work, boredom, actually forgetting anything, not knowing something Description: "How in the world did this guy become a mystic?" This is the question many ask themselves once they discover that Loki, a rather irritating shapeshifter, holds such a position. Carefree and easygoing, it is as if he takes none of the responsibilities that come with being a mystic seriously at all. This leads a few to believe he is nothing but some lazy bastard who cheated his way to the rank. On top of this, Loki is rather mischievous, playfully annoying, and confusing. He enjoys mocking and teasing others in several ways. Making matters seem complicated or confusing just to mess with others' heads is one method he uses to torment unfortunate passersby. The shapeshifter will do this even when he is sharing information with another, Loki refuses to give out all that he knows and only tells enough to keep others wondering. There are alternative ways he may also use to vex others and these involve sarcasm and simply speaking of something that would obviously bother the victim. While Loki certainly does enjoy causing trouble for others, he does not particularly enjoy taking part in a conflict directly. These conflicts include physical which is the type of conflict Loki would prefer to avoid the most. When in the presence of any kind of fighting, he chooses not to do battle with anyone unless he is provoked. To make matters worse, Loki annoys others in a jocular manner, always with a seemingly permanent smirk on his face, as if their annoyance is his pleasure. Being a trickster by nature, using wit and confusion to play tricks on others is one of his favorite sources of entertainment. The second answer to the question would have to be because he wants to know how different people will react to these situations. Why? Because Loki is incredibly curious about anything and anyone he comes across.
Curiosity is perhaps one of his traits that aided Loki in succeeding the previous mystic the most, along with his intellect and composure. With an inquisitive mind, he was eager for knowledge of any kind simply because he desired to know about anything he was able to learn. This has led him to being fairly knowledgeable in many fields, but information related to magic and anything spiritual is his what he is most experienced in with him being a mystic and all. Enlightenment is fairly important in Loki's life and being as receptive as he is, is sure to quickly absorb any information or ideas he views as useful. With the acquirement of quite a bit of knowledge, he has become rather adaptable, perceptive, and clever. Loki is able to discern and judge situations properly which prevents him from doing things he will regret, such as going too far with his mocking or putting himself in dangerous circumstances, and it also assists him with carrying out actions that he would have otherwise thought of. Resourceful and analytical, the shapeshifter is able to quickly analyze situations and adapt to unexpected difficulties. Such a quick-witted mind cannot be without its flaws however; if Loki were to lose his focus and composure it would be insanely hard to think as acutely as he normally does, if it were even possible. The loss of his restraints he has placed on his emotions would probably trigger the fall of both. After all, it is suppressing problematic emotions like anger, fear, lust, and grief that allows him think clearly.
That does not mean Loki is entirely emotionless though, as he lets himself feel happiness, amusement, and love for the citizens for whatever kingdom I put him in. Good mystics are known for caring for the well-being of their fellow citizens, and Loki is no different. In spite of the enjoyment he gets from his antics, much to the chagrin of some, Loki genuinely cares for his kingdom and everyone in it. There are some exceptions to this however; not even the kindest person can like and get along with everyone. Although Loki may not agree with everyone because of how carefree and lazy he acts, there are times where he can be quite the steadfast, reliable ally. He will help another in need of it to the best of his ability without much hesitation most of the time, depending on the circumstances. All in all, Loki can be a pretty decent guy, it's just that he can be fairly annoying as well.
