The Nine Dragons Guild of Assassins This ancient organization dates back to only a century or two after the Recreation Era began.
PURPOSE The Nine Dragons is a guild dedicated to professional assassinations through business and sometimes religious interactions.
STATUS IN SOCIETY The Nine Dragons is the most well-known guild of assassins. Everyone knows about it. Everyone. The only reasons the guards haven't taken out its members and leaders is because of the fear they cause and their impeccable ability to stay hidden. Only the most elite assassins can join, and this is why guards, rulers, generals, and medics alike fear it. Getting on the bad side of the Nine Dragons ultimately results in your permanent demise without even a trace of evidence linking them to the assassination.
JOINING THE GUILD To join the guild, you must summon the Ninth Dragon. To do this, you must murder an innocent victim with a silver blade rubbed in foxglove petals by slitting their throat, usually in their sleep. The following plea must be sent to Her: "The Ninth Dragon! The blood of the innocent now stains my soul. Send your child unto me!" She will not actually appear to you, but if your plea is heard, a Grand or Elder Dragon will summon you the following morning.
You will be kicked out of the guild if you steal from fellow members or kill a fellow member. After exile, you will forever be hunted down by the Nine Dragons as one of their prime targets.
GUILD SANCTUARIES There are guild sanctuaries in the following locations. Most are known to the public, but no one dares to even notice them.
- Ashfall
- Naktis
- Scelestus
- Utro
- Crystallis City

The College of Hexas Guild of Mages and Wizards A guild of magic practicers dates back to before the fall of the ancient ones. Orabels were incredible mages and were strongly attached to the magics. After their demise, the new races rebuilt this ancient guild and kept its traditions, salvaging and preserving as much history as they could in the process.
PURPOSE The College of Hexas is dedicated to teaching the curious about the arts of magic, the techniques involved in becoming a master mage, the history behind magic, the connection to the Hexadus, and miscellany such as alchemy, enchanting, harvesting alchemical ingredients, and creating spells. In addition to education, the College of Hexas has a sworn oath that promises to find and cease all use of the unholy Selfish magic.
STATUS IN SOCIETY The College of Hexas is a widely-respected guild. Its members are often given small discounts when making purchases, and most all civilians respect and honor them.
JOINING THE GUILD It is simple though not necessarily easy to join the College of Hexas. Talk to one of the headmasters at a guildhouse and you will be given a task to prove your magical capabilities. If you succeed, you are welcomed into the guild and eligible to be given your first contracts. If you fail, you are turned away until your abilities are up to par. Those more naturally gifted with magic do not need to try as hard as those less gifted.

The Yari Sa Senka Guild of Thieves The Yari Sa Senka, as they are referred to collectively, are a guild of thieves who enable organized crime. They originated a few years after the domestication of dragons in approximately 330 RE. Their name means "turned into shadow" in the Orabelic tongue.
PURPOSE The Yari Sa Senka are mostly a guild of lowly beggars and peasants who have found a new home in thievery. They attempt to regulate wealth by stealing from the rich. Senkas never steal from fellow Senkas or from peasants and beggars and the low class. The trade and buy and sell their stolen goods within the guild, and fences within the guild help to sell your gains to the public without the stolen mark. In addition, the Yari Sa Senka are devoted to helping the poor, even if they are not members, and considering the desperation of most of the under class, they welcome it with open arms.
STATUS IN SOCIETY Senkas are not liked by civilians. The upperclass and nobility absolutely despise the Yari Sa Senka. Accused members are tried, and guilty members are sentenced based on the severity of their crimes, often to death.
JOINING THE GUILD To join the Senkas, you must get in touch with one of the fences or higher-ranking thieves. Often the beggars of major cities can point you in the right direction. Afterward, a meeting will be scheduled, and you are then to prove yourself a worthy, promising thief who will one day reach the caliber of the greatest kleptos.
