I NEED SOME NEW MUSIC!
Any suggestions of music? =]* I am willing to give anything a try! It can be a specific song, or a band if you think of more than one by an artist. I would just like to broaden my music knowledge!

I gotcho back.
"Darker" Music Nightwish. (Symphonic Metal) They have a sound similar to the darkness of Evanescence and I've noticed you seem to like kind of darker songs, or so it seems, and I really think you'd like them, particularly these songs: (if there's an asterisk next to it, it's one of my faves) - Bless The Child* - Lappi Lapland (particularly pt. III. This Moment Is Eternity at around 3:35. - End Of All Hope (perhaps, I'm not certain but why not give it a shot? :)) - The Escapist* - Amaranth* (this is the music video which I think you'd like and I think you'll REALLY like this song) - Eva* - Stargazers (maybe) - Sacrament of Wilderness - Dark Chest Of Wonders (maybe) - Romanticide (maybe) - Wish I Had An Angel - Planet Hell* - The Siren* ♥ - Ghost Love Score* ♥♥♥ - Away - Over The Hills And Far Away* - Phantom Of The Opera* - Sleeping Sun* - She Is My Sin - The Kinslayer* - Beauty And The Beast* ♥♥ - Bye Bye Beautiful* - Cadence Of Her Last Breath* - Crimson Tide And Deep Blue Sea* ♥♥♥ (just an instrumental but I LOVE this one) - Nemo* ♥♥♥ (interesting music video) - The Poet And The Pendulum* - Wishmaster - 7 Days To The Wolves* - Ever Dream* - Moondance* (I'm pretty sure this is just an instrumental)
Within Temptation. (Symphonic Metal/Rock) Very similar to Nightwish but I prefer Tarja Turunen's voice to the lead singer of Within Temptation. Nightwish actually got a new lead singer who I don't like as much; her name is Annette. - Our Solemn Hour - Hand Of Sorrow - Angels - Ice Queen - Utopia*
Haha I would deff recommend Eminem but you don't like rap. :(
"Happier" Music Ummm. Let's see. Anberlin. (Alt. Rock) They're very hauntingly amazing, more their newer songs. Their older songs still have the touch of immature alt. rock to it, which I don't like. Many of their songs are very touching and spiritual/religious and always spine-tingling. Here are some of my faves: - Adelaide - Naïve Orleans - The Unwinding Cable Car - Hello Alone - Alexithymia - Inevitable (makes me cryyy :() - Dismantle.Repair. - (*Fin) (one of my favorites) - Downtown Song - The Haunting (there are no videos of the recorded version but you can buy it on iTunes – this song is WONDERFUL) - Burn Out Brighter (Northern Lights) - Younglife - Haight St. - Soft Skeletons (I think you'd like this one) - Miserabile Visu (Ex Malo Bonum) (I LOVE this song) - Heavier Things Remain (Graviora Manent) - Foreign Language (eh)
Yellowcard. (Pop Punk) I considered them my favorite band until I broadened my music vista. They're kind of more bouncy and happy than Anberlin but still have that alternative rock with a touch of unique violin. Some of their more serious songs are lovely. - Sure Things Falling - Rough Landing, Holly ♥ - Space Travel ♥ (lyrics in my signature picture) - How I Go (makes me cryyy :() - Holly Wood Died - Life Of A Salesman - Only One ♥ - View From Heaven (a happy kind of sad) - Believe ♥ (about the firefighters who died saving people during the 9/11 attacks on the WTC) - Keeper ♥ - Light Up The Sky - Date Line (I Am Gone) - Dear Bobbie (don't let the funky voice throw you off in the beginning; it's a really wonderful song) - You And Me And One Spotlight (the chorussss ♥) - Cut Me, Mick (great if you've been abandoned by a friend) - With You Around (the second verse♥!!) - Hang You Up - Be The Young - Sing For Me (I like this song but I THINK that I like THE ACOUSTIC version better) - Bombers ♥♥♥♥ (lovelovelove)
New Found Glory. (Alt. Rock) I listened to them along with Sum 41 at the end of eighth grade and haven't listened to them since but I liked them... - Oxygen (so cute ♥) - Make Your Move - Taken Back By You - Familiar Landscapes ♥ - When I Die - Connected ♥ - Boulders ♥
Dave Matthews Band. (Rock) You know, DMB is just great. Sometimes I can't always listen to their songs because they make me impatient sometimes, but some are just TOO amazing. - Dreamgirl - You And Me - My Baby Blue ♥ - Crash Into Me - #41 - Grey Street
Reel Big Fish. (Ska) They're ska. What more can I say? - Good Thing - Ban The Tube Top - Sell Out - Beer
Like any Red Hot Chili Peppers song.
- You're Gonna Go Far, Kid by The Offspring
- My Wish by Rascal Flatts (really happy song)
- Belle Of The Boulevard by Dashboard Confessional (happy sad)
- Kings And Queens by 30 Seconds To Mars (I really like this one) - Closer To The Edge by 30 Seconds To Mars - This Is War by 30 Seconds To Mars
- Never Look Back by Zach Berkman (very happy and piano and stuff)
- Loving You Tonight by Andrew Allen (oh my gosh in love with this happy song)
- Courage by Superchick (this song is sad and about eating disorders) - Stand In The Rain by Superchick (you've probs heard this one as it is relatively popular and very good) - Beauty From Pain by Superchick (sad sad sad but good good good)
- Let It Go by Tenth Avenue North (haven't explored TAN much but they're a Christian band and this song is super happy and cute)
- Wonderful by Everclear (great song if your parents are fighting or going through a divorce/separation; it's happy in sound by sad in lyrics)
"Harder Core" Music Sum 41. (Punk Rock) I fell in love with them after Yellowcard. They became my favorite band after Yellowcard. They helped me transition into darker/more intense music and find a new love and appreciation for heavier guitar. Derick Whibley (lead singer) has a voice that might be annoying to some though. - No Reason - We're All To Blame (the sound quality here doesn't do the song justice) - The Bitter End (this song kind of takes after Metallica's song Battery; it's sort of like a tribute and they sound very similar) - Open Your Eyes - I'm Not The One - Noots (this song is in Fantastic 4!!) - 88 (my favorite part is like a 2.5 minute instrumental and it starts at 2:03) - Count Your Last Blessings
Framing Hanley. (Rock) Interesting band. I like a few of their songs. They did a sick cover of that once popular mainstream song Lollipop by some black guy. - Lollipop - Alone In This Bed :( :( :( - 23 Days ♥ - Slow Dance ♥♥♥♥♥♥ (reminds me of special times and a night I could only DREAM of) - It's Not What They Say - Hear Me Now
Senses Fail. (Rock) I don't know how to describe them. They just sound good. I only like some of their songs though, because some of their other songs are just unbearable. - Four Years - Family Tradition - Bite To Break Skin - The Priest And The Matador (looong intro but SUCH an amazing song)
- Voices by Saosin (this is a good song) - You're Not Alone by Saosin (this is also a good song)
"Other?" Music Modest Mouse. (Indie Rock) I really don't know where to place them. They're so weird, but their music is so good. - King Rat (such a sick video, directed by Heath Ledger) - Float On (rhythm popularized by Lupe Fiasco's song Show Goes On) - Ocean Breathes Salty - Dashboard (right on) - Little Motel (so sad, check out the video) - Parting Of The Sensory (interesting song, I love the end) - Missed The Boat - We've Got Everything (starts off loud for some reason, just as a forewarning) - Fire It Up - Dramamine ♥
Okay, that wasn't even everything I wanted to share; it was just like everything with at least a guitar in it, mostly. Maybe I'll post more stuff later. :) Enjoy for now!

Just keep an eye on my youtube playlist! I add to it every day. Oh and if I get any new music albums I may just send you a few songs via skype, especially if it's a song I know you haven't heard before
