PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS Height: 5'8" Weight: 135 lbs Physical Build: short, skinny Hair Color: blonde Eye Color: left: blue; right: green (wee heterochromia!) Description:
Ezekiel is almost average. He's not very tall but not abnormally short, possessing a height of 5'8". His hair is on the longer side and blond in color. His white face has dark features, like his eyebrows being a few shade darker than his hair. His face is sharp, and he has dark circles under his eyes most of the time due to insufficient hours of sleep. Perhaps the only identifying characteristic about Ezekiel is his unusual eye color. His left eye is a pretty cerulean blue and his right eye is natural green.
Overall, Ezekiel has a scrawny build. It isn't that he's a wimp; rather, he just doesn't have a lot of built muscle. Most of his time has been spent studying and learning, so he never had a chance to become a brute, strong, man warrior. No matter. With his magical abilities, he doesn't need strength. Though he pretends to not care, he is a little bit insecure about his scrawny build and tends to conceal it with robes.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS Alignment: lawful good Religious Affiliation: holy Likes: learning, reading, interpreting scrolls, translating ancient texts, being intelligent, being recognized as intelligent and as a powerful wizard, using and practicing magic, illusion magic (his favorite), dreams, researching the history of the world, learning about the Santach despite his utter devotion to the Hexadus, alchemy and enchanting, spending time with his sister Dislikes: physical combat, wars, battling, being wrong, injuries, sports, being a loser, people bragging to him, gloaters, obese people, his power/political position being questioned by his age, the fact he looks even younger than how young he already is, people attacking or hurting or preying on or mocking or doing anything negative to his sister Description:
Ezekiel does a very good job at setting people off. Most others can tolerate him for a good hour before he starts to sound annoying. He is argumentative and much of a devil's advocate, simply because he sees arguing a good way to exercise the mind and generate more positions and thoughts on a particular subject. He's not quite stubborn about his arguments, but he likes to use Socratic questioning to open his own mind as well as the minds of others. In a true argument, however, he absolutely despises being wrong, and it's even worse when the other person boasts about their victory.
The mage is extremely proud of his intellect, and it's essentially the only thing he has to live for, besides his religion. He works relentlessly for hours on end to expand his knowledge, particularly in the field of magic and alchemy (and history!), and he quite loves to practice his magic skills when he's not reading, sleeping, or eating. Ezekiel is always up for a friendly fight to test his magical ability on others, but he is absurdly over-competitive and tends to let that get the best of him.
In the act of learning and the mystery of his magic, he actually becomes quite reserved and suspicious. Usually one can tell when he'll be acting this way, for he completely immerses himself in the magical world when he's donned his mage robes, hood and all. It's as if they transform him into a whole new person. Grace is not fond of this version of her brother simply because he's so mysterious and even a little conniving, even if he does not mean to be.
