Dawn hummed quietly as she walked through her castle. Ick, no, the castle. Calling it her own was something her mother would have done and she was not her. She determined that she would never go down that path. However, calling it Krymo Zaharada's castle or Kiesan's castle would work nicely and she didn't believe that she could be yelled at by the bestial races.
No, that wouldn't be good...
Tripping and falling for what felt like the hundredth time that day, the Ice Queen growled in frustration. Gah! Stupid dress! It didn't do anyone any good anyway! Contuining to tumble like that was going to bruise her chest and that was not going to be comfortable in the slightest.
She sighed in exasperation and stood back up. Upon returning to Krymo Zahrada in the past few months, she had to remember everything she was taught as a child about leading a country. There were bestial races there to help her and, sometimes, the other leaders would send her a word of advice, but, otherwise, she had to fend for herself. Her advisor said that she should look like a queen at all times. Dress included.
"But I never wanted this stupid dress!!" Dawn yelled out loud childishly, covering her mouth a moment later and looking around to see if anyone had heard. Her advisor or a guard or... Nope, no one.
That did it. Storming off to a corridor that she knew was a dead end, she poked her head out to make sure no one was there again. Backing up, she tugged the long, elegant, annoying dress over her head and took it in her head. Screw it. She wasn't very good with conjuration, but for the sake of not putting on that dress again or trudging all the way to her room, she was going to try.
Focusing on it for a moment, it changed almost instantly into her favorite long-coat and black leggings appeared as well. She grinned and kick off the high heels, making those turn into boots as she slipped on her jacket and leggings, plus her boots afterwards. Yep, more comfortable. Her advisor could yell at her later.

From corridors away, there was a slight echoing of someone yelling. It wasn't audible to the ears of whom were listening, because their distance was to great, but instead, they walked toward the familiar tone so see what it was. Bright sapphires darting around the halls in search of its destination. Then finally, there it was. He caught the trail end of a beaded and embroidered fabric tail. A smile reached across his face as the already quiet steps quickened their pace to catch up.
Jake peeked his head around the corner just a few moments after Dawn had turned into another corridor. His smile grew larger as he continued down the hall a short distance. He stopped and placed his hand against the wall to keep his balance waiting for her, silently, to turn around.

Smiling at her more casual attire, Dawn spun on her heel and nearly screamed in surprise as she noticed someone standing there. It scared her so bad that her wings appeared just incase she needed to escape. After a moment of freaking out, she realized who it was and sighed. "Jake! You almost gave me a heart attack!" She half-yelled, half-laughed. It had been a while since she had seen the blonde.
She skipped over to him and took his hand, shaking it like a little kid might. "How have you been? I haven't seen you since before I moved in here! It's felt like ages!" The angel chirped.
With the height difference, she used her wings to hover a bit off the ground so it wouldn't be as awkward for him to look down. Then it hit her about where he had been standing. She frowned, her cheeks turning red. "H-How long have you been standing there exactly?"

Jake smiled at her shock, he was used to scaring people and hearing their screams, he wasn't phased by it. "It's what I do best," his smiled cocked to the left side as she skipped forward to him. As the Lesser Angel grasped his hand he returned the grip slightly, enough so that she could acknowledge that there was a grip, but not so hard that he crushed her delicate hand, "Ehh, the same ol' same ol' boring junk that I do everyday. Nothing has changed. What about you? How do you like being back in your Castle?"
Jake's blue eyes followed her as she floated up, he really doesn't care were people stand and how tall they are, he was used to it by now, but he wasn't just going to push her down because her nice gesture.
The demon's smile grew large as Dawn blushed. He was there long enough to see her reclothe herself, "Don't worry, I didn't see anything." he tried to reassure her with a winning smile.

"It's so great! The bestial citizens who have been looking over the castle in the absence of a ruler did a great job with repairing and renovation," Dawn bounced up and down, almost looking like she would run off to show him all of the changes to the ice castle. She stayed in place, however, knowing that running around with Jake might cause questions. And with her dress being gone, there would be even more. No dealing with that, nope!
She glanced around, beaming before she added, "Plus, they got rid of all of my mom's stuff. No more statues in 'her glory' or pictures. And the room I had as a little girl has been totally redone." No blood staining the bed. No claw marks in the door from when she scratched so hard her fingers left a blue trail. Dawn didn't add that outloud, however. He didn't need to know the details.
It wasn't even her room anymore. She was staying in a whole different area of the castle. Her old room didn't belong to anyone, yet. And as long as every other room in the castle was open for someone to stay in, no one ever would.
Grinning, she nodded her head and pushed the previous thoughts to the back of her mind. "Good! Because as my trusty friend, it would be quite awkward for you to have seen anything!" Hovering once again, she circled him, still holding on his hands, and started for the garden. "Have you see the garden this time of the year? It's astounding!"

Jake his eyes followed Dawn as she jumped with bouncing-bubbly excitement. The sight of her glee made him smile a bit, but was quickly buried as he opened his mouth to speak "You are quite lucky." he glanced at her then the walls of the castle, "Most people aren't that forgiving; especially as fast as they did as a whole." His eyes dragged back to her.
The demon turned on his heels and walked a few steps down the corridor where he had entered in time to see Dawn. Jake's smile grew larger then the one it had before, "It wouldn't be the first time i have seen something of a friends." he turned his head too look at her "but that wouldn't be the worse thing i have done with a friend either." he added in quickly.
"No, i haven't seen the gardens at this time of year." his eyes gentle. "I am sure they are lovely, why don't we go and see them?" he smiled slightly. He stopped and waited for her to be slightly in front of her to let her lead.
