Carlie Calvare walked throguh the streets of Bayview in her usual ambitious dress. Her dresses changed colors everyday, and today she was wearing a black dress, though she didn't really even understand herself why she had gone with this one today. Maybe she would find something to steal, and maybe it would be one of Sarah's pots. I like her pots, they're easy to sell off in the black market whenever I go to see one of the arena matches in Celestial City.
She smiled as she scooped up a pot nearby. It wasn't Sarah's so she wasn't going to steal it. Carlie had noticed that her sister had a unique style at pottery that she saw rarely in any other potter's work. Maybe that was why they were so easy to sell, people found the style of them interesting. She sighed and set it down, not really caring if it was in the same spot or not.
"What I need to do is follow her to her place so that I can just steal them directly from her place....."

"Oh, it is so nice to get out and see other artists once in a while!" Sarah exclaimed as she walked the streets of the town she had made her home, clay from a project she was working on still smeared like a brush stroke across her right cheek. She carried a pot she had finished the day before under her left arm, hoping that it caught someone's eye so that she could sell it and get her artwork around a little more.
It was a simple hourglass shape, glazed with a metallic onyx black and laced with swirls of sapphire blue. I wonder if Jake would have liked this if he could see it.... she thought quietly, then sighed sadly and shook her head.
"No use worrying about this now..." She spoke to herself, and let her euphoric mood pass through her veins once again, a smile lightened across her lips almost instantly. She stopped at a fellow potter's set-up, and looked over what they were offering to sell. "Such lovely work" She commented as she looked to her side, taking a step back at the sight of her sister Carlie.
"Oh dear sister, I was hoping that you had changed..." She smirked as she spoke, her eyes traveling over her older sister's attire before returning her gaze to her sister's face. "But I guess I was hoping for a bit much, hm?" She frowned at Carlie disapprovingly. "You know, rather than stealing from me, you could ask for a pot...but thanks for telling me who has been stealing from me recently Lee Lee, I appreciate it." She smiled again, knowing how much Carlie hated the nickname.

"You wish I had changed? I hope you know that I will never change as long as you want it." Carlie smirked and smiled at Sarah knowingly. She growled in irritation, What makes you think you can call me Lee Lee? "And since when would you give me something? You hate my guts. I know you would never give them to me so why bother?"
The lesser angel crossed her arms over her chest and grinned. "You're lucky that I'm not the violent type, you would be dead now if I were, even though I have been liking the money I get off of your pots, they payed for this dress after all." She beamed at Sarah before twirling in the dress. "You like it? You want it? It is practically yours.
Chiyoko had been traveling for hours through this depressing city. Everything was too happy, it was all she could do to keep from setting every other house on fire just to darken up the scenery. "Where is she? I could have sworn I stopped at the store she wanted to meet at. What could have held her-"
Chiyoko, she is with Sarah only a few blocks from you. Looks like she is having fun teasing her sister, why not join in? Kurayami project to Chiyoko from his vantage point miles above the city in the sky. She smiled as she nodded and decided to slip through one of the nearby buildings, ending up near the two but hidden in the shadows, a few illusions thrown up to make it seem as if she wasn't even there.
Lets see what these two are talking about shall we? Don't want to be rude and interrupt what they are already talking about now, would we?

"Heh." Sarah barked a short, humorless laugh. "Why am I not surprised to hear that from you, dear sister." she leered, and pinched the pot in her arm between her fingers as she crossed her arms across her chest. She laughed quietly when Carlie growled at the mention of her long ago nickname, knowing how much she detested the name.
"I may have been nice enough to give you something, for I at least wanted some civility between us....but..." she grinned at her sister. "If you want to play that game with me all over again, who am I to ruin the fun?" She laughed at her sister, setting the pot in her hand by her feet before straightening back up to look at Carlie.
"Oh I know you are not the violent type. That is what Jared is for to you, am I right? You're too lazy and spoiled by your own vanity to do anything for yourself Lee Lee." She replied, eying the dress with little interest. She smirked, her eyes glittering mischievously as a small hole began to burn itself at the hem of Carlie's dress, tendrils of smoke curling up and around Carlie's head.
She did say it was practically mine....so I can do as I please to it... She thought with slight satisfaction as a creeping suspicion began to slither down her spine. She felt like Carlie and her were being watched, but from the shadows. She spun on her heel, her eyes flashing. Slowly, she turned around again to face her sister. "So, you had to bring company with you, hm?" she growled quietly under her breath, throwing up an illusion of her own for the stranger. To them, it would appear as if the two sisters were still standing and facing one another.
Sarah grabbed Carlie's arm, and dragged her over and behind a building nearby, dropping her arm as soon as she stopped walking. "I know you are up to something Carlie, and I have no interest to be a part of it. Just leave me and anyone else in this family out of it." she glared, speaking in a flat monotone as she turned on her heel and left her sister behind, tiny fiery vines twirling around her fingers as she walked.

Carlie smiled, Thats right, burn the dress, give Chiyoko something to look for in an illusion that you will set up when you know she is there. "Ahh, so you want to burn the dress do you? Well then, be my guest. That is if you want to leave me with no clothes on." She Smiled yet again when she spun on her heels to look in the direction of the shadows, Chiyoko's favorite hiding spot.
"I didn't bring her hear deary. She just kinda came here on her own. I had asked her to meet me somewhere else but obviously she hated the bright lighting of the place enough to just come find me herself." The lesser angel laughed when she was told to leave everyone in the family out of it.
"Only one I'm leaving out of it is you, I have way to much fun messing with you."
Chiyoko watched the tendril of smoke continue to lace out above Carlie's head and smiled. It had to be an illusion, it was just to suspicious after Sarah had looked straight at her, An illusion? Does she not remember how observant I am of things? That I know how she would have reacted to knowing that there was someone else there? She stepped forward and smiled as she lit the small area on fire to see if her hunch was right, when nothing burned she smiled even wider, Kurayami, where are they?
Kurayami's smile was felt by Chiyoko as he project his thoughts down to her, Building on the left, closest alleyway to you. The lesser angel smiled in satisfaction as she stepped into the opening, her illusion set up to make it seem as if no one was there until Carlie turned and started to storm away.
Chiyoko threw down her illusion, a mischievous smile lacing her face, "Ah, Sarah, long time no see. How's the rest of your family been doing?" She raised her eyebrows at the flames dancing at Sarah's fingertips. "Now now, no need to get angry or anything."

Sarah growled quietly, and looked over her shoulder at her sister before she exited out from behind the building. "I don't know who you are meeting, or why, but you will not include the family in your twisted plans." She smirked as she turned away and continued on her way. "I am glad you want to keep me around. It truly warms my heart."
She turned the corner, and froze, watching as the illusion of the sisters was set afire, making it obvious when they did not cry out in pain that they were not truly there at all. Dammit! Who would have been quick enough to figure it out?! she mused, her mind racing as she began to move forward again. She looked around, that sense of being watched still nagging her as she walked back to where she had left her pot, waving her hand to disperse the flames as she passed.
Another movement caught her eye, and she turned sharply on her heel, the flames around her fingers flaming brighter as they extended to her elbows. When she caught sight of who emerged from the shadows, she felt her heart sink like a rock thrown into a dark lake, and she extinguished the flames twirling up her arms quickly. "Chiyoko..." She breathed, the shock of seeing the angel quickly replaced with malice and anger.
All at once, everything settled into place in Sarah's mind. Chiyoko was the one Carlie was meeting here! But why..? She wouldn't do that unless it was for.... her thoughts trailed off as her stomach twisted sickeningly. She suppressed the urge to lash out and fight the angel, instead she stood with a smooth expression, her arms crossed across her chest with her hands balled into fists . "Anything about my family is something that you do not need to know, Chiyoko." she replied flatly, watching for her sister out of the corner of her eye. __________________________________________
"Chiyoko, it was never like you to reveal yourself as quickly before. Maybe you are losing your touch." a low voice trailed from the shadows where Chiyoko had been, a fluid shadow barely visible as it leaned against the wall. It soon followed by an amused chuckle, having caught the silent dread resonating in Sarah's eyes, who realized automatically whom the voice from the shadows belonged to.

"Sarah, Sarah, Sarah. You have not changed a bit, always defending the family that have no grudge against. unless you have something to tell me about my family I don't really care how you're family is doing." Chiyoko smirked and stepped forward, looking down at the shorter angel.
"Chiyoko, back off of her, she isn't the reason I called you here. Ahh, I had not expected you to be here yet brother." She smiled as she stepped around Sarah to look at the knowing dread drain from her face. "Lucky you that my plan does not include killing you just yet. If I had planned on having either Chiyoko or Jared kill you don't you think you would be dead by now?" She smirked a little, knowing that Sarah was probably scared now that she was surrounded by people, that if told to, would kill her on a whim.
Chiyoko turned around, here eyes widening in shock, "Brother?" She approached the shadow slowly. "J-jared? I-I thought you were dead...." She looked at the shadow, she couldn't believe that it could actually be him. She had seen him killed with her own two eyes, how could he have survived?
She wanted to touch him, to hug him even but knew that this was Jared she was thinking about, he had never really liked that kind of stuff. He's not dead Kurayami, did you know this at all? You saw him get killed just like I did. She looked at the shadow, her emotions running wild as she tried to figure out what exactly she was feeling about this new turn of events.
No, i did not know, I'm just as surprised as you. Kurayami's intelligent voice calmed Chiyoko slightly, he didn't know either so no one but Carlie had been leaving her in the dark about this. But that didn't surprise her, this was Carlie after all.

"I know nothing of your family Chiyoko, nor would I wish to tell you if I did." Sarah glared up at the taller angel, refusing to be intimidated by her in any way possible. She was not about to show any one of them how what they were doing affected her. She would not allow them the satisfaction of that.
"Heh." She laughed humorlessly, as she turned her gaze to Carlie who had appeared behind her. "Empty threats dear sister. You were as clueless about his appearance as I was, and I know you Lee Lee. You would not kill whom you get amusement from." She returned her sister's smirk. ___________________________
"Hmm, so time has not faded your memory." He spoke in a low tone, and took a step casually out of the shadows. He was not dressed in his normal attire, instead was dressed as a member of Bayview's society, blended into their nature influenced ways. "That does not surprise me." He added, and stepped silently around Chiyoko so that his back faced her own.
"No, I would not let that man have the satisfaction of ending my life." he replied flatly, the memories flickering in his eyes before disappearing like mist in the morning. He looked at Carlie, and smirked knowingly. "And I thought you would have told Chiyoko about me, but as usual you never fail to keep the most wanted secrets."
He walked up to Sarah, and held her jaw in his hand. "Do not worry sister, I am not here for you. I have another that I am here for." He chuckled when Sarah jerked her jaw to the side and out of his hand. "As it is I am late for our meeting, so for now I bid you all farewell." He turned silently on his heel, and wove through the crowd that was assembled for the day, disappearing completely after a few moments.

Chiyoko started to go after Jared but was stopped by Carlie's hand, "Don't forget I called you here for a reason Chiyoko." Carlie then turned towards Sarah and smiled. "I've got business to take care of. I'll see you around Sarah." She turned to see no one standing next to her any longer.
"Damn that Chiyoko, this is why I didn't tell her about Jared...."
Chiyoko darted through the crowd, her illusions changing her clothing just enough for her to easily blend into the crowds. Kurayami, where is he? I want to know, I have some things to ask him. She slipped through the crowd in the general direction that Jared had taken off in, looking mainly for his tall form.
I'm having trouble keeping an eye out for him from this height. He looked to much like everyone else. You're going to have to find him yourself. Chiyoko sighed and continued through the crowd, constantly scanning the heights of those around her. Jared was tall, nearly a foot taller than herself.
Where are you Jared? That was when she ran into a man that looked to be his height. I hope that wasn't him....

Sarah watched Chiyoko leave after Jared, and almost burst out laughing. "It appears as though your pawn....I mean friend has other things in mind than meeting up with you for whatever it is you wanted her for." She replied, as she twirled on her heel around her sister's frame.
"Though I am curious, why is it that Chiyoko should not have known about Jared? Or will you leave me to figure it out for myself?" She walked over to where she had left her pot earlier, picking it up carefully in her hands before she placed it under her arm as she had it when she had arrived earlier. ____________________________________________________
Jared wove easily through the crowds, his chilled aura one of the few things he could not mask with people he just happened to pass by for a moment. They always looked up at him like some rabid animal, and proceeded to give him more space than they needed to. But Jared just shrugged it off, and found it much easier to get through large crowds that way.
"Hmmm." He looked around, trying to spot the one he was supposed to be meeting in this rather obnoxious crowd. The client, as he called it, was not a notable figure. Just a girl, around his sister Sarah's age, with dark brown hair and matching eyes. But so far it did not seem as though she had appeared yet.
He turned on his heel slightly, intending to head the other way when a body ran into him, and collided with his back. His eyes widened, the only indication that the collision had struck a nerve. He turned fully, though slower than he had before, and came face to face with Chiyoko. "What is it you want from me, Chiyoko?" he asked, tone dull, knowing almost instantly that the Lesser Angel had followed him to get answers.

"Honestly sister, I'm afraid when those two are together. I don't have as much control over Chiyoko as I would like too, she is too free spirited." Carlie sighed and looked over at her, a minute glint of fear in her eyes. "And if they get back together it could mean nothing good for even me. Chiyoko only hangs around me because she hoped that Jared was still alive, and knew if he was then he would most likely be near me."
The lesser angel shook her head a little and looked back up in the direction that Chiyoko had taken off in. "I worry for the Calvare and Manayoko families with her near him. She is an even bigger schemer than I am...."
Chiyoko flinched when the man turned out to be Jared, she had hoped to catch him and drag him off, if she was strong enough to, to an ally way to get her answers, not run into him. She backed up a few paces so that she wouldn't have to look up too much at the taller lesser demon. "I....um....."
She hesitated, not really sure how he would answer her next questions, the lesser angel was always like this around Jared, though it was worse now. "Why didn't you come to find me? How did you survive such a blow? Does it still bother you? Do you know if anyone from my family is still alive?" She hesitated, not really sure if he would answer her next question of not.
"Do you still like me?"

"Then why did you choose to contact someone with such a spirit if you cannot control her?" Sarah frowned, the gesture deepened when she saw the glint of fear in her sister Carlie's eyes. "And Jared....our brother Jared....in a relationship? Heh, and can you ever worry about someone other than yourself for once?" She chuckled humorlessly as she walked back over to where her sister stood. She planted her feet in front of Carlie, and peered up to her, her expression completely serious.
"So there is some sort of compassion in your heart for this family? So tell me sister, how much do you know about this....apparent union of sorts between Jared and Chiyoko? For the rest of us never knew Jared to love...or care for another...." Her eyes glinted with faded memories of her family, that passed like a leaf caught in the wind. "Why do you worry about these families...and do you know what Chiyoko could possibly be capable of?" ____________________________________________________
Jared smiled with mild amusement at Chiyoko's rather humane reaction to seeing that the man she had bumped into was the one she had been illusioned into believing was cast off the earth for eternity. "What reason would I have had to chase the demons of my past? It was nothing I rather cared to pursue." he replied, his tone dull, but aware that these words had the capability of cracking like a whip on Chiyoko's heart.
Ahhh...the foolish stubbornness of the heart....to hold onto feelings and memories of the past...whether they be ones of a dream, or your own personal demons from hell.....
He smiled down at the lesser angel, his irises ice cold. "As I had said before, I was not going to let that man have the satisfaction of ending my life." He looked over the crowd, his eyes trailing over to a girl who waited by a tree, her eyes searching for something. Or someone. There she is...poor thing...so trusting of a stranger... He mused for a moment before turning his head, his focus back on Chiyoko. He looked at her, something alight in his eyes before it extinguished like a candle flame. He turned on his heel without a reply, and blended back into the crowd.
"Have you been to the Celestial City, Chiyoko? There may be something of interest to you there..." His voice traveled through the crowd to Chiyoko like a ghost, his tall frame long obscured by the swelled crowd.

Carlie smiled and looked at Sarah, "Because she is more powerful than even Jared, at least she was last time I checked. Chiyoko was a vampire slayer for a few years after Jared's 'death' and a darn good one too." She frowned, suddenly realizing how much she knew herself about the little relationship Jared had with Chiyoko five years ago.
"Lets just say that he turned an angel into someone who likes to kill, and he liked that. They were an interesting couple until Jake 'killed' him." Carlie frowned a little and stepped back. "I have told you too much as it is, I should get going now before you get anything else out of me."
Chiyoko dropped her illusions, crept up behind Jared, and grabbed his shirt. She pulled him forcefully back so that her mouth was next to his ear. "I only have one last thing to say to you Jared. You had better watch your back from now on, you will never know when I will strike. Unless that small flicker of whatever it was in your eye was more than amusement."
Chiyoko let go and turned, walking away from the scene, laughing like a maniac. Jared has no idea how making me an enemy is a big mistake. Kurayami, I think it may be time to visit Notia, never been there before. I'll deal with that lying Carlie later.
Michael Revera walked through Bayview and smiled to himself, his suit standing out among the citizens of the port city. He always liked to come to this city, he seemed to come here a lot on business though. "Maybe I should have a vacation here if there is ever a time when I don't think my merchant fleet will be ran into the ground by my crews."
He did miss the snows of Krymo Zahrada though. He glanced around at the people going about their business before he saw a tall man be pulled rather forcefully down to where a fairly average girl could whisper into his ear. He raised his eyebrow when the girl walked off laughing and shrugged. "What's her deal?"
He spotted the girl next to the tree and looked at her. She seemed to be waiting for someone, but who? He started making his way over to the girl slowly, waiting to see if whoever she was waiting for would show up.

"Chiyoko? More powerful then Jared?" She shook her head, and laughed. "I think not, Carlie. Jared is not a vampire, so it is very unlikely that she could overpower someone like Jared. He did not die the first time around, and apparently did not get slain another time around. He is not that easy to kill."
She frowned and stepped back, her expression clearly in disbelief of what Carlie tried to tell her about their relationship. "So you are trying to tell me that Jared was with someone when Jake had supposedly killed him....Jared you never cease to amaze..." Her frown deepened more when Carlie started to leave before she shook her head again. She stepped forward, and handed Carlie the pot she held in her arm.
"Take this, I do not care what you do with it once it is with you. I am going to try and clean up this mess you have caused. I am going to see what that angel is planning." She spread her wings out as far as they would go, then rocked back on her heels before she pushed off, taking to the sky to follow Chiyoko to wherever she planned to go. _____________________________________
Jared smiled a moment before Chiyoko reached out and grabbed his shirt, letting her pull him down to where she could speak into his ear without another hearing what she planned to say. His expression took on a mask of innocence as she spoke. "Oh dear Chiyoko, is that a threat?'' He smiled humorlessly at her back as she let him go and walked away, laughing manically. "You are quite more predictable to me than it appears. I shall look forward to the time when our paths cross again."
He spoke almost silently, and turned again as he weaved through the crowd to reach his whole reason for his lingered presence in the town. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught the shadow of a winged creature suspended in the sky, their movements almost calculated to follow Chiyoko. "I am not the one who needs to protect myself Chiyoko...."
That girl underestimates me....she is not rather bright to do so...
He slipped easily from the people that surrounded him, and stepped out from the crowd to where the girl was located. He smiled a pleasant smile as he approached, and snook behind the tree that she leaned against. He leaned around the other side, and laughed when she jumped and struck his arm before she wound her arms around him.
"Oh, I knew you would keep your promise!" The girl spoke eagerly, and grabbed his hand as she stepped back. He smiled in return, his irises alert as he caught Michael as he walked over to where the girl and him stood. Jared sighed to himself quietly, before he stepped forward to greet the man. "Is there something I can help you with, sir?" He asked, his voice light.

Carlie laughed as she took the vase and watched Sarah take off after Chiyoko. "Why even bother when she is so unpredictable!?" The lesser angel smiled as she started off towards home, knowing that a trip to Celestial City was in order soon. She smiled to herself as she looked down and noticed the burnt hem of her dress.
She is so easy to provoke sometimes.
"No, there is nothing you can help me with, I'm just passing by." Michael stepped back and took off his hat, raising hie eye brow at the taller man. He was, interesting. Michael turned and walked away, keeping his senses trained on the area behind him. Something about that guy doesn't feel right.
He sighed and shook his head, "I'm probably being overly cautious as usual." The faerie planted his top hat back on his head and continued to walk casually, through the crowed, his eyes glancing back and forth between each person he passed before stopping near the center of the street to hide himself from view.
Now what shall I do? Nothing is interesting enough for me here.
He turned and headed out of the city, his back turned to everything behind him.
