ordeum 18, 1593, dusk scelestus, oriens, verfall
Bow on back and sword on her belt, Arrow Sage was fully prepared for any situation that came across her in Scelestus. Of course, all of her weapons were concealed by a midnight blue cloak as to not be suspicious, but also not stand out amongst the dwindling crowd of the dark city. The exchanging of conversation was starting to die out as the sun began to sank below the horizon. Damn, she had lost valuable time to listen in on information that could have helped her.
As she rounded a corner, she was nearly run into by a person who was coming in the opposite direction at a swift speed. Arrow caught a glimpse of pink hair peeking out under the stranger's black cloak. Before Arrow could get a good look at the person, they were already speeding away from the city.
"Strange..." Arrow muttered, continuing on her way.

Dusk, the time when the prey hide and the hunters seek. Pyrixs had been slipping in and out of groups of people all day mapping out the town in his head when he saw a short moment of movement out of the corner of his eye. He turned around in the small alleyway to investigate, and saw a quick glimpse of a person in a cloak. Using a stack of boxes against a wall he climbed onto the roof of the building and started to follow the figure. He increased his pace until he was in a full sprint when suddenly he leaped from the roof, his left hand ablaze with fire, landing behind the cloaked figure. He placed his hand on the ground and a set of walls of fire erupted from the ground blocking off the exits of the street.
"O, I'm sorry, where you going somewhere?" he asked, "I guess your plans have changed now haven't they."

"Cornering a person?" Arrow glanced over her shoulder, not at all stumped by the current situation. A smirk tugged at her lips and a mischievous gleam appeared in her eyes. This had to be the person she was looking for, right? She was ready for a fight ,and it wasn't like she was going against Dranixs' condition. The man engaged her, not the other way around. Plus, she had to defend herself. However, she wasn't remembering the 'flee if it comes to a fight' part.
The Olisthir spun in a fluid, natural motion to face the man, keeping her hood up for the time being. "A pretty cowardly thing to do, if I may say so. What's the matter? Too afraid to bring this to a bigger stage?"
Arrow had her taunting voice turned on; it was a frequent happening when she was ready to duel someone. The more smug her tone, the more her thoughts were of winning. Right then, her voice was half-smug, half-serious, signaling that she wasn't completely sure she was going to win, but she was definitely going to fight like she was. In the dwindling sun and only the fires providing light, she had no clue it was Pyrixs standing infront of her.

Pyrixs removed his hand from the ground causing the fires to slowly die down and just chuckled.
"The stage will grow bigger just you wait." he said. He raised his left hand with his right hand grabbing his wrist. Suddenly the dying flames rushed to his left hand and formed a dozen fireballs each the size of an arrow which he sent flying at Arrow. As the fireballs soared through the air they increased in size until they at least doubled in size.
"I hope you make this battle interesting, I haven't had a good fight in awhile." Pyrixs said the cloth wrapped around his left hand catching on fire and falling to the ground, "Everyone else struggled for a bit but then just gave up in the end."

"I think you know that I make any battle interesting," Arrow answered, trying not to sound too surprised as she met the stranger's eyes. She should have realized who it was by his voice or his stance. Although he was a little bigger than when they were little, he was the same. His eyes were nearly piercing, as was hers, but his were also foreign. She didn't recognize them like she should, yet she did. It was a confusing concept.
"In fact, as I recall, I've beaten you on most occassions," A small smile spread, a bit of bitterness sinking into her voice. "But what I want to know," Her sword split into two, slashing through the fireballs with ease. She leapt into the air, shifting into a griffin and ramming into Pyrixs before flying up and looking down at him.
"Is what the hell do you think you're doing, Pyrixs Granas?" She finished, eyeing him with her deadly sharp, red-violet irises.

"Well well well, if it isn't my brothers private wine." Pyrixs said bringing both of his arms up in front of him to block Arrow. After sliding back a few feet he placed both of his hands on the ground causing a small explosion of fire underneath him launching him into the air. "I'm surprised he even let you leave the castle at all." Pyrixs chuckled as wings of fire emerged from his back, "He values you so much, he tries to horde you like your an expensive wine he doesn't want to misplace."
Three blocks away a red hooded figure stood on a rooftop spinning a dagger in both hands as he watched the conflict unfold, a dark chuckle coming from the mask shadowed by the crimson hood.
It's sure been a long time since our last..... bout. I've learned many things since you've last seen me and I assume you've learned more too, but enough talk." Pyrixs said as he landed on the roof of a building, the wings of fire starting to twist and turn. Suddenly the two wings, now two streams of fire spiraling together into one larger stream, flew towards Arrow the end of it opening like the maw of a dragon.

A rush of red appeared on her cheeks, leaving as quickly as it came to be. Wine? What kind of response was that? He had no right to be throwing nonsense like that out there when he had no say in the matter. He hadn't been at the castle and he was in no way part of the relationship-- thank goodness. He's dillusional and doesn't get it, just ignore that, She told herself mentally.
Arrow landed lightly on the opposite building's roof, shifting back to her human form. As the fire came towards her, she took a step forward, stepping right off the edge and falling to dodge the stream of fire. As she fell, the Olisthir changed into a hawk, swooping up and coming to a full stop on the ground. "That all you got, Pyrixs?" She smirked.

Pyrixs ran to the edge of the building as the large stream of fire twisted and split into two separate streams as their crimson fury lit the sky. Pyrixs walked to the edge of the roof the runes on his arm glowing the same bright red as the streams of fire streaked through the sky towards the building upon which Arrow stood. Pyrixs jumped across to the next roof as the fire coiled around the house like a snake igniting the walls. Pyrixs broke into a sprint towards arrow and as he approached five streams of fire surged skywards before bending down towards arrows, the ends of the open like ravenous dragons waiting for their prey. "I wonder what my brother would say," Pyrixs said as he jumped at Arrow sending a flaming kick towards her, "If i burned your face."

Not caring what she was breaking up or intruding on, Dia appeared from a portal. Her hand, now covered in a thick layer of water, grabbed Pyrixs' leg and threw him in a different direction. Per usual, her hair was in a single braid and her black cloak's hood was pulled up so her face wasn't clearly visible unless caught by the light of fire.
Swiftly, she spun, wrapping her hand around Arrow's sword which was coming at her and teleported her away. "Well, I don't think your brother would be very happy. Let me just answer that question for her," Dia replied, shaking her hand and letting the blood fly. Absentmindedly, she used healing magic to begin repair.
The slayer sighed and crossed her arms over her chest. "I want to strike Acerbus Umbra as quick as possible," She informed. "We have a strong team that I have gathered. We'll strike and each person will have a specific target or targets." She smirked darkly as she looked at him. "I want you either to go after Falkor or Roxanna. Make sure the one that you're handling can't get to Holly or anyone else for that matter. Even's out the playing field."

"Dammit." Pyrixs grumbled as Dia grabbed his leg and tossed him aside, "Just as things were getting good too." He landed on a roof of a house not far from the epicenter of the battle and already the dry timber was starting to catch fire and it wouldn't be long until it was engulfed in flame. He quickly ran across the roof of the building as smoke started to rise from the cracks in the roof then jumped to another building before a section of the roof caved in and a jet of rose up. When he finally reached the building Dia was on the fire around it had already dissipated and a portal was starting to open up behind Dia. "We have a visitor." Pyrixs said pointing to the portal.
The portal opened up like an eye and inside it seemed like a black void except it was filled with thousands of red eyes staring at Dia and Pyrixs. The sound of heals clicking against tiles came from the portal when suddenly a girl older than Pyrixs wearing a purple dress and carrying a purple umbrella with red ribbons tied around it walked out of the portal. "You certainly made a mess of my brothers city Pyrixs Granas." She chuckled mischievously before looking at Dia, "So you're planning an attack on Acerbus Umbra? Tell me, is there a mage by the name of Wade Odara living there?"
