Description:

Adam Cardinal more closely resembles his mother than he does his father. He isn't huge or bulky or strikingly muscular, but he is lean from everyday hard labor. He has naturally olive skin, but ever since his infection with vampirism, it has since become pale like ivory, which he detests fervently.

The eldest Cardinal stands an inch taller than his father, being 6'3". He is modest about his height, especially since he knows his father suppresses feelings of jealousy toward his height. Adam is aware that Ezra hates feeling inferior, and surpassing him in height is the perfect way to engage that feeling.

His face also resembles his mother's more than his father's. It's more on the slender side, with a touch of rugged masculinity, but neither his jaw nor his cheeks are very strong. His nose is average in size but a little bit pointy.

Adam's hair is the typical Cardinal blonde. His eyes were once blue like his parents, but they've been stained with redness and blood since being infected with vampirism.

Description:

Adam, as the eldest child of the expansive Cardinal family, takes on the role of the babysitter. He has an almost paternal role in his family, and he feels it's his responsibility to make sure all his younger siblings, from Blake to Olivia, are happy, safe, fed, hydrated, and taken care of. As the eldest, he feels he grew up with the most responsibility and most expectations from his parents. He's worked very hard to get where he is today.

Caretaking is his speciality. He welcomes virtually anyone with open arms if they need his help, particularly his sisters and youngest siblings. Adam is adamant on ensuring others are okay, which is part of the reason he has mastered restoration. He sees it as an asset that could come in handy in any given moment. The other part is because he knows higher skills in restoration provide for a faster, easier cure to vampirism.

The eldest Cardinal child has an undying hatred for vampirism and, as a result, vampires. He wishes for nothing more than to be cured of the wretched disease that haunts and plagues him daily. Adam's been working very, very hard for the cure.

The disciplined polnoc assumes a personality of determination and hard working. He's very perseverant, and even the hardest of labor is unlikely to stop him from doing his job. He believes in quality over quantity, so he takes his time with his work. If, however, the landlord demands he deliver a message, he will not hesitate to put that at the top of his priority. This goes for anyone, too. He'll stop any work that benefits only himself to do favors for others. If he's doing work for someone else, though, he's usually sure to finish that first.
