Gifted Combat Skills:
Avalyn specializes in this field. She can knock someone out without them realizing it, and can fight well with any object no matter how obscure. She’s best at throwing knives, swords, spears, and the like. She always carries some type of blade with her whether it be her faithful saber, a dagger, or even a butter knife. She’s strong compared to most ailores, but she’s still physically weaker than most species so she uses her speed and agility to beat her enemies.

Avalyn, surprisingly, can use one form of magic, and that is manipulation of the element lightning. She’s not nearly as good as a human or elf would be, but her abilities are quite powerful because she has the element of surprise (since no one expects an ailore to use magic).

Description:
Avalyn is a sight that turns heads. Not only because she’s an ailore, but because she is quite attractive and stands out easily from the crowd. She is a tall, dark brown, domestic cat-like ailore with sharp features. Her ears are larger and pointier, her eyes more almond shaped, her tail fur tapers to a point, and her fingers are long and slender.
Her eyes are quite scary due to their deep orange shade, which to most appear red at first. The fact that they are cat eyes doesn’t help much either, with their very angular shape and slit pupils. Her fur is dark brown; slightly lighter on the front of her torso and the tip of her tail, and slightly darker on her ear tips, hands, and feet. Her fur is super short except near the end of her tail, which is similar to a fox’s tail. Her hair reaches her mid back, curling and waving elegantly around her shoulders and face. Her hair is slightly darker than her fur color, and darkens even more at the tips.
Avalyn not only dresses like a prostitute, but has the curvaceous body to pull it off. She is usually seen wearing skimpy outfits, such as short shorts/skirts and low cut corsets. When she’s doing business she’s wearing dark gray pants, shirt, vest, and her signature lace up boots with 3 inch heels. Her other signature piece are her fingerless red gloves which reach up past her elbows. This is where she gets her alias of “Red Handed Assassin”.

Description:
Avalyn is quite the character that no one really knows. Very few individuals even know her real name, because most people know her as the Red Handed Assassin. She is infamous for doing any dirty job for any person, whether it be killing someone, torturing information out of someone, stealing something, or even causing some form of mayhem. She specializes in many fields and can do well at almost any job. Another reason many people use her is because she’ far cheaper than a professional assassin, but still gets the job done.
She moves from town to town doing some type of “commoner work” while also doing paid missions until the guards/bounty hunters/assassins chase her elsewhere. She has quite a high price on her head in nearly every kingdom due to her malicious and destructive influence.
As a person, Avalyn is selfish, independent, and cold hearted. She won’t go out of her way to cause harm to someone (unless paid to do so), but she’s not hesitant to betray or even kill others if necessary. She has complex feelings towards just about any subject, and is highly indecisive. She has a troubled mind and tendency to resolve her problems with heavy alcohol. She has serious mental scarring from her past, and will frequently have nightmares, mental panics, or severe cases of depression. Since she’s always on the run, she can never settle down in a city or with a person, and that is probably what hurts her the most. Every time she starts to get close to someone, she has to leave yet again.
She once was a good person. Deep down that person may still be there, but for now she’s living a dangerous and harmful lifestyle because it’s all she can afford to do right now.


HISTORY AND BACKGROUND
Avalyn grew up in a small town of refugees of beasts hiding from slave traders. When she was six their town was raided and she was separated from her family, being sold to a wealthy man in another kingdom to be a slave. She lived a fairly nice life in his mansion, because he treated her as if she were a hired maid. Despite the nice lifestyle, Avalyn didn’t like being someone else’s property. When she turned 13 she finally planned her escape and fled into the woods.
It was only a few months of living in the wild that she was chased after yet again, only this time by someone worse than the people who kidnapped her when she was 6. These band of robbers were sex traffickers.
Avalyn then spent the next 3 years forced into prostitution. The only reason she didn’t attempt to escape was due to the fact that other girls who had tried were killed. She would have had 4 children during those 3 years except the men in charge aborted all pregnancies. It wasn’t until her third year doing it that she devised a plan to escape. Normally she would be chained down when she had to do her job, but instead of resisting it, she seduced her customer into releasing her chains so he could fully enjoy it. Luckily the man did so, and she killed him. She was able to break through the window and run for her life.
She ended up being pregnant after that, but 3 months later she ended up having a miscarriage. She tried to start her life again by doing a bartending job because it was the only job she could get. She had no work experience, was only 17, but she knew how to mix and serve alcohol due to her first time being a servant.
It wasn’t until a wanted poster appeared in the bar she worked at that an idea came to her mind. She set out to find the woman wanted, and successfully brought her in for the reward. She liked the idea of making a lot of money for something as thrilling and exciting as what she had done, so she continued doing it, slowly gaining her reputation as the Red Handed Assassin.
