Description:Startled stares quickly morph into a sort of half-wonder with his alien demeanour: serious, determined, and respectable, and rightly so. He is the Earl of Phantomhive- having inherited his family’s estate, company, and business.
Ciel stands a little short for his age, and actually hasn't grown at all since his 12th birthday. (Let's hope he hasn't finished growing...) He's very thin and slender, with almost no muscle at all. His dark black hair is shaggy and hangs past his eyes, glossy, and in certain light, looks like a very dark blackish-blue.
His eyes are something else. His left eye is a stunning, deep blue with flecks of a gray-blue color. And, not that you'll ever see it, but underneath that eyepatch on his right eye is a bright purple iris with the mark of a demon, marking him the master of Sebastian Michaelis.
Ciel usually wears fancy, expensive clothes and is mostly seen with a walking stick and of course always wears his eyepatch. Not to mention his infamous blue diamond ring. It has been in his family since the beginning. It has seen the death of every Phantomhive, and it is sure to see Ciel's one day..."If it's your wish, I will follow you everywhere, even if your throne crumbles, and your shiny crown turns to rust, even if the bodies pile up endlessly, above the bottomless pile corpses. Beside you as you lie softly down, I will be until I hear the word 'Checkmate'."

Personality: Sharp, snide, and almost as wicked as they come, Ciel Phantomhive is the most mature thirteen year old you will ever meet. In fact, he's a lot more mature than people that are older in him. He believes in all gods, but does not waste his time with petty worship or trust in any of them, even the selfish ones. He knows the only one who can protect him is himself. He's rational, calm even in the face of mortal danger.
Oh, you want to be his friend? I wish you the best of luck. To Ciel Phantomhive, life is no more than a game of chess, and he is the black king. And you're nothing but a pawn in his game. He will, just like you do when you play checkers, use you to your full extent, and when he's done with you, throw you away. You are nothing to him, and most likely never will be.
Ciel is witty, and smart with words. He'll outsmart you without even thinking twice about it. His ego is big and he's not afraid to put you in your place, and by that, yes, I mean kill you. Don't let his scrawny appearance fool you, he has a way with swords and can cut you down faster than you can say "Oops."
HISTORY AND BACKGROUND
A pampered young child, Ciel grew up in the wealthy noble family of Phantomhive. Diagnosed with asthma from a young age, he was somewhat frail and spoiled, but still attended the occasional get-together and meeting with his father, Vincent Phantomhive. A cheerful kid, he had a friend in his cousin and destined fiancee Elizabeth and they played together in the manor with frequency and grew close.
His tenth birthday approached, and his parents were murdered the same day- the manor set ablaze in a magnificent wildfire. Ciel was captured and tortured under the hands of his captives and branded with a damning and painful insignia. Calling out for the gods to save him and the other children captured there, his bitterness grew and he retracted his faith; instead crying out for anyone to save him from the endless torture and humiliation he suffered through.
Amassed in wounds and bleeding, a demon answered him and desperate to escape, he exchanged his soul for pledged revenge. Ciel and the demon he named 'Sebastian' forged a contract then- under the conditions that Sebastian would act as his power and protect him until his revenge on those that made him suffer was complete. Rescued and bitter, Ciel then ordered the reconstruction of his family's manor and stepped up to become the Earl of Phantomhive as he made Sebastian his loyal butler.
And the rest is yet to come.
